Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten at SBS

I am thankful for going to St. Bernadette School because I have met most of my friends here. The teachers are kind and caring, along with our principal, who without her, this school wouldn’t be possible. I have learned so much here, especially in religion. I enjoy going to mass and receiving the sacraments. I have grown so much throughout the past few years, and none of this would have been possible if I had never gone to St. Bernadette.

I love seeing students grow, from beginning to end of the year. I love their questions and their curiosity. I love being Catholic. I am able to share my faith at school and able to talk about Jesus and start every morning with prayer.

My son loves going to St. Bernadette because of the great teachers he has, the friends he has made and the robotics team!

Over the past few years, our students have faced challenges with reading and writing skills, likely influenced in part by COVID. Thanks to teachers' focused efforts to strengthen literacy—especially in 5th grade—I’ve seen significant improvements in my 5th-8th grade Social Studies students. Their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills have grown tremendously. I’ve also noticed stronger cross-curricular connections throughout the school, with concepts being reinforced across multiple subjects. These improvements are creating meaningful learning experiences now and will continue to benefit our students in the years ahead.

Switching our children to St. Bernadette School was one of the best decisions we have ever made. Before SBS, my son struggled academically, but the consistency of having the same teachers for core subjects each year allowed them to understand his learning style and helped him thrive. My daughter also received the support and encouragement she needed and was more than prepared for high school.

What truly sets SBS apart is the sense of community. The staff genuinely knows and cares about each child and family—you are never just another face in the crowd. SBS is more than a school; it is a family, and I couldn't imagine my children being anywhere else. We truly are Blessed at SBS.

From the moment we walked through the doors, Saint Bernadette felt like home. Our family was welcomed into a community where our children are truly known, valued, and encouraged to grow.

The teachers and staff lead by example, living their Catholic faith each day while creating a nurturing environment where students thrive academically, spiritually, and personally. Small class sizes and compassionate teachers challenge our children to reach their full potential while fostering kindness, respect, and a love of learning.

Choosing Saint Bernadette has been one of the best decisions we've made for our children's education and well-being. We are grateful to be part of a community that truly feels like family.
